I really have not felt a real Panerai so I really don't know how it feels. My friend . I purchased a Second hand JOA (another popular option is the Davidsen make) for my higher quality Swiss option and a Sterile "Marina Militare" (MM) from Military Time, a common and more respected source for the Chinese clone choice.

Overall it fits tight when closed and really does serve a purpose when it is locked. today I receved my Pam 111 Homage made by Davidsen. I have to thank him for the good job he made. The communication was very good with him and the watch came 15 day (from HK to switzerland) after I made the final order.

Every little teeny detail is a little off. I have just ordered a 127 (Ultimate Fiddy) and 111E Ultimate from Davidsen. While his watches look very good, I have heard mixed reviews of his quality. He states that his reps have superlumed hands and dials, but how good are they actually? Davidsen PVD - Big improvement. Coloring is fairly close but case preparation leaves a flat gray appearance as opposed to the sheen on a gen. Outside PVD sources - Don't know who is currently offering it but that will substantially raise the price . Sep 23, 2009 (Edited) Like the title says. Up for grabs we have a very nice DSN 6152-1. It has a polished case with solid back. The movement is Genuine Swiss! The watch runs like a charm and keeps perfect time. The lume is nice, better than average. But then again this is a vintage style watch. The CG is reworked and is big, beefy and flush.
The big Egiziano. I have made a new very big panny hommage watch latley. Full specs as follows :-case diameter with no cg: 52mm :-case diameter with cg 60mm :-swiss unitas 6497 movt :-sapphire :-sandwich dial with c3 lumed -matching gold hands -3 ATM WR tested -leather strap 24 x 24mm with GPF buckle. There is also the matter of the "Officine Panerai" being engraved upside down, but no other makers have a confirmed alternative movement with the correct orientation on the brand engraving. I would suggest you email Davidsen and ask if he is .
Just got the Davidsen 111H, fitted it with palp crown and Manifatture Firenze Buffalo strap. The lume is top notch, can add pictures later of this.
